Maynooth University and The Centre for the Study of Historic Irish Houses and Estates are delighted to announce the 22nd Annual Historic Houses International Conference on 12th-14th May 2024 at Maynooth University and Castletown House.The conference will feature papers focused on ‘Outside the demesne walls: estates, towns and villages’ and will examine themes relating to country houses and their local town/village communities whether from historical or contemporary perspectives.
