Timothy Cooke, OBE
Tim recently retired from a career in banking as Chairman of Lloyds Bank International based in Jersey. A graduate of University College London (Medieval & Modern History), he sustained his interest in military history throughout his career, publishing a number of articles before co-chairing the international commemorations of the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo.
He is Vice Chairman of the Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust charged with restoring the vast Palladian mansion in South Yorkshire and placing it on a sustainable basis. In addition he chairs the company that runs the largest livery hall in London as a commercial enterprise and is a member of the Council of the National Army Museum.
