The Attingham Society, based in the UK, is a membership organisation founded in 1985 for alumni who have attended the Attingham Summer School, Royal Collection Studies and Attingham Study Programme. It works in close association with The American Friends. Its principal aims are to keep its members in touch with one another and to organise ad-hoc events throughout the year, the highlight being the Annual Reunion.
Attingham Society Scholarship Fund
Membership of the Society is free – all that is required is that you are an alumnus of one of our courses.
The historic membership fee has now been waived and, instead, the Society would like to encourage all members to contribute towards an Attingham Society Scholarship Fund to allow future colleagues to have the same experience. We hope very much that current and new members will feel inspired to contribute to such a fund either on an annual basis with a Standing Order of £15 or more or by a one-off donation by cheque (payable to ‘The Attingham Society’ and sent to the Membership Secretary, address below) or by using the electronic facility which is available at the bottom of this page. If you are a UK tax-payer we will be able to claim Gift Aid on the amount. A Standing Order form and Gift Aid form are available as downloadable PDFs at the bottom of this page.
